3rd Annual Pietown Gospel Music Festival will take place at Rock Spring Park (Upper Athletic Field) on Friday, July 28 from 6:00 - 9:30 pm and on Saturday, July 29 from 11:00 am to 9:30 pm. This FREE Family Event will feature over 13 hours of the BEST Gospel Music in the Bi-State area. From local favorites like Fred Church & The Spirituals, Steve Davis - Elvis Gospel, The Gibson Girls, and The Greater St. James Baptist Choir, to large Mass Choirs from St. Louis - the Community Gospel Choir of St. Louis and the Shalom Church NextGeneration Choir, there is sure to be something for everyone. The Community's very own Riverbend Community Gospel Choir will be the finale on Saturday starting at 8:15 pm celebrating their 15th Anniversary in Grand Style. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawnchairs for seating and come hungry as there will be delicious festival foods consisting of BBQ Porksteaks, Grilled Corn on the Cob, Ice-cold Watermelon by the slice, Schwegel's family famous Bratwurst and 1/4 pound hot dogs. Kettle corn, flavored popcorn, and refreshing Dr. Pepper softdrinks all will be availabe for a nominal fee. Inflatables and games for the kids will be presented by the Abundant LIfe Community Church in the Kids Zone.
