Special event hosted at St. Louis Regional Airport: Come out and have more fun than you can any place while staying close to home! The 3rd Annual Legendary Mustang Sanctuary event is formed to raise money for the rescue and adoption of America’s wild Mustang horses and burros. On Saturday, May 27, the fun begins with the opening of the Sanctruary's grand flea market at 9AM continuing all day with official Ford Mustang Cruise-In at 3PM. A family day filled with children activities and bounce house you will meet, treat and enjoy Sanctuary resident Mustang horses, listen to live entertainment and take advantage of great photo opportunities with your family and friends. Learn how to adopt a legend while helping a sick child and enjoy classic cars throughout the day. This event is designed for all ages and enjoys free admission and free parking. No alcohol is allowed at this event. Food is available for a nominal donation to the Sanctuary. A 501 (c)(3)non-profit charitable organization, the Sanctuary has no paid volunteers or staff. 100% of funds raised is dedicated to the mission of saving the Mustangs. All donations are considered gifts to the Sanctuary and are deductible under IRS rules. Ford Mustangs are provided by the Southern Illinois Mustang Association and two of the Sanctuary's resident wild Mustang horses will be on hand with the cars to meet and greet everyone, weather permitting.
