Public Zen meditation begins with the Evening Bell chant (English), and the Heart Sutra (English). We will sit for 30 minutes of seated meditation, we also have chairs for those that need them). Followed by a talk and Q&A.
(For anyone interested in hearing/participating in a traditional Korean Chant we please arrive at 6:45. We will be chanting Yebul Moon a beautiful chant that is chanted daily in Korea.)
If you are new to the center please arrive a few minutes early for a brief instruction. Please wear or bring socks while in the meditation hall.
Cost: $5 All the money from the service help to pay for mats and cushions, incecne, and to rent this beautiful space. If you are not able to give please contact me ahead of time and we can work something out. No own will ever be turned away for lack of funds. All donations are tax deductible, you may pay at the center in cash or check (please make checks payable to Bo Kwang Zen Center)
