Join us as we celebrate the return of the American Bald Eagle to the Meeting of the Great Rivers. Starting in December, migrating eagles can be seen all along the Meeting of the Great Rivers National Scenic Byway from Alton to Pere Marquette State Park. We kick-off this this beloved wildlife season with the Alton-Audubon Eagle Ice Festival. This free celebration is held at both the Audubon Center at Riverlands in West Alton, MO and at the Alton Visitor Center in Alton, IL. We will be at the Audubon Center at Riverlands with fun eagle crafts and helping visitors spot wild eagles in Ellis Bay using viewing scopes. For more information about the Festival call the (636) 899-0090 or visit www.VisitAlton.com.
