Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Livingston, IL, will host a chicken dinner Sunday, Oct. 23. Meals will be served from 11:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the church hall, 460 Church Street. Carryouts will also be available.
Diners will have a choice of white or dark meat. Meals will include mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, cole slaw (with Holy Cross’ homemade dressing) and applesauce. Bread, desserts and iced tea or coffee will also be included with each meal. Adult meals will be $10, while children’s dinners (for those under age 12) will be $5. Proceeds will be used to help with the final construction costs of Holy Cross’ new Sunday School rooms. Matching funds are being provided by Thrivent Financial.
Parking will be available in the lot behind the church. Those who have attended Holy Cross dinners in the past should note a new layout: please enter through the new passageway which connects the church and hall.

Holy Cross is located at 460 Church Street, and is handicapped-accessible. (Directions: Take Interstate 55 to Exit 37 (Livingston Exit.) Turn west, toward Livingston, and take the first right off the interstate to get on the frontage road. Go two blocks and turn left onto Church Street. Holy Cross is at the corner of Church and Mullen streets.)
