Overland, Missouri….Get ready for a day of fun, food, entertainment and frolic at the Autumn in the Park Fall Festival at Norman Myers Park in Overland on Saturday September 24.
The City of Overland and the Overland Business Association proudly present the Annual Autumn in the Park festivities as a family-friendly event for kids and families of all ages.
Festivities from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. will feature food, live music, kids’ activities, a petting zoo, eating contests between firemen and police officers, wheelbarrow races, a pumpkin chucking contest, raffles, arts & crafts, the Overland Farmers Market, plus screening of the movie “Zootopia” at 7:30 p.m., among other activities.
Admission to Autumn in the Park Fall is free and open to everyone. Norman Myers Park is located at 8700 Midland Blvd, in Overland, 63114.
Daddy Mellow kicks off the live music with country ballads and folk songs on the main stage starting at 9 a.m. Additional musical performers throughout the day will include the Ritenour High School Marching Band performing from 11 a.m. to noon, and the Silver Wings Band from 12:30 to 5 p.m.
The “Husky Hustle” 5K Run/Walk” hosted by the Ritenour Pride & Promise Foundation begins at 9 a.m.
