E.S.C.A.P.E. to Amish Country

New this year, pick from two different dates to go see the Amish Country. On Tuesday, October 18, the group will get a buggy shop tour. On Thursday, October 20, the group will enjoy a tour of a Belgian Horse Farm. Both dates will enjoy, a delicious home cooked meal in an Amish home. The countryside tour will include a stop at Beachy’s Bulk Foods to stock up on homemade products. It also includes time in downtown  Arthur, where you can explore shops filled with hand sewn quilts, fresh made bread and baked goods, hand crafted woodwork, antiques & local crafts!  We will also get goodie bags with coupons for free items  at the local shops.              

$70 per person.  Fee includes motorcoach, goat farm tour, and lunch at an Amish home

Edwardsville Senior Citizens - A Perfect Experience
This group is for everyone age 55 and older who is looking for a fun day!  The group takes monthly day trips to various places around St. Louis and sometimes ventures further out into the world.  Past trips have included the Vienna Boys Choir at the Cathedral Basilica, Meramec Caverns, Mount Pleasant Winery and many more unique places!  

To reserve a seat on the trip listed above, please call the Parks Dept. at 692-7538. Make checks payable to Edwardsville Parks Department: 118 Hillsboro Ave. Edwardsville, IL 62025 and write "E.S.C.A.P.E." on the envelope.  No refunds will be issued after the registration deadline.
