Join members of the Great River Audubon Society and the Pacific Palisades Sierra Club for birdwatching. June is a great month to see breeding birds nesting, wading birds, and sometimes the Missouri Kite. Columbia Bottom CA includes shallow wetlands, bottomland hardwoods, prairie and cropland. Participants must be able to stand/walk on uneven ground and will be required to sign a waiver. Bring binoculars, bug spray and drinking water. Meet in the parking lot at the Visitor Center. Register by contacting Susan at 618-466-8395 or emseth75@gmail.com.
