On Saturday, May 4th Senior Services Plus will participating in Area Agency on Aging’s Senior Independence Day. During this day volunteers from Our organization and many others throughout the Metro area will be participating. From 9am-3pm we will be at four corners in the Riverbend area collecting donations to help support Meals On Wheels. We will be at the corners of: Elm & Alby in Alton, Norht Alby & Humbert in Godfrey, Penning & WoodRiver in WoodRiver, and Prairie & Central in Bethalto. Last year this event helped raise over One-Thousand dollars for Meals On Wheels, which is enough to support more than fourteen seniors for one month.
