This is a past event that has already occured.
About this event
Join Trailnet for another weekly, easy-paced, guided ride on a paved trail in Great Rivers Greenway’s River Ring network. The rides are free and have been giving both new and experienced cyclists the chance to explore a different greenway location in St. Louis City, St. Louis County and St. Charles County throughout the entire summer. Every Monday during the month of September, attendees can participate in a ride in South St. Louis County along Grant’s Trail, which lies within the Gravois Greenway. The ride will run from the entrance at Kirkwood Trailhead to the U.S. Grant Historic Site and back for a total ride of 5.8 miles. Registration begins at 5:30 at the Kirkwood Trailhead at Holmes and Leffingwell. Ride departs at 6 pm. There will be a brief “fix-a-flat” lesson offered between 5:30 and 6 p.m. to show people how to fix a flat bike tire and discuss what spare equipment is necessary to carry for spur-of-the-moment bike repairs.
