GRAFTON - Waterpark, is calling all mushroom enthusiasts, big and small. The park’s inaugural Great Mushroom Hunt on Saturday, April 17, includes a mushroom hunt, lessons from a state champion, food trucks, kids activities, and more. The event will be held from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and is open to all guests.
Illinois State Morel Champion (Women’s Division) and Brighton, Illinois native, Pam Kodros will share her more than 40 years of mushroom knowledge and mushroom hunting tips with guests as they seek out the best morels. Guests can hunt for morels on the property behind Raging Rivers Waterpark while hiking on marked trails, watching eagles, and keeping a lookout for Bigfoot. Kids can participate in the mushroom-themed event with a hay maze, coloring stations, and a hunt and create their own enchanted forest.

Tickets for the Great Mushroom Hunt can be purchased in advance for $15 per person or $50 for a family of four. Admission is available on the day of the event for $25 per person. For more information on this event and to purchase tickets, guests can visit RagingRivers.com.
