Robert E. Kramer, 84, passed away at 9:46 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Born April 22, 1940 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of Walter E. and Ardella F. (Sexauer) Kramer. On August 24, 1963 he married the former Sheryl A. Kinglsey. She survives. Mr. Kramer was a graduate of University Missouri Rolla School of Engineering with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation he served as an officer in the Navy from 1964 to 1967. In recent years, he owned and operated Kramer Industrial, Inc. He and his wife are active members of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Godfrey, IL. 

If you knew Bob, you knew integrity, unconditional love, thoughtfulness, and compassion. You also knew how much he loved his family and friends and was a loyal and steadfast supporter of all in his world. He gave endlessly of his time, energy, and resources to his family and causes important to him. Before he passed, he made sure his family knew how much he loved them and appreciated the life we shared. He was at peace and prepared to meet his Lord, knowing that he had lived a blessed and fulfilling life, provided for all those around him, and set an example for us all to emulate. 

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, W. Richard Kramer. He leaves behind his wife of 60 years, three daughters, Lisa Scheldt (Darin) of Bunker Hill, Jill Dalton (Greg) of Palos Heights, IL, Melanie White (Jason) of Sebring, FL, two sons, Michael Kramer of Springfield, VA, and John Kramer (Trisha) of Denver, CO, thirteen grandchildren, Andrew (Jami) and Steven (Tiffani) Scheldt, Miye (Steven) Lanphier and Chiyo (Carlos) Aoki-Kramer, Evelyn and Jack Dalton, Connor, Brendan and Tyler Simpson, Mason and Max Kramer, Summer (Shea) Gilliland and Cody (McFarland) Brooks, and nine great-grandchildren, Karson and Kolton Scheldt, Althea, Shiloh and Eden Simpson, Olive, Mary, Josephine and Dorthy Gilliland. 

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2024 at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Godfrey. Memorials may be made to the Westminster Presbyterian Church or charity of choice.
