Marilyn Kay Watters, 65, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024, at 5:45 am, at Robings Manor in Brighton.
She was born on October 27, 1958, in Wood River, IL, the daughter of Edgar JR and Patsy Rae (Wall) Coffman.
Marilyn was a member of Forest Homes Southern Baptist Church. She worked in the retail industry as a cashier. She enjoyed crocheting, poetry, baking and cooking. Marilyn loved spending time with her family and friends.
Along with her mother, Patsy, of Shipman, she is also survived by her two daughters, Tammy Lynn (Rick) Rea of Granite City, and Stephanie (Thomas) Tendick of Cottage Hills; four brothers, Tim (Ginger) Coffman of Bethalto, Dan (LaRita) Coffman of Shipman, Eddie (Chris) Coffman of Cottage Hills, and Ranel (Carolyn) Coffman of Shipman; five grandchildren, Rachael Rea, Curtis Rea, Trever Tendick, Tyler Tendick, and Travis Tendick; and a great-granddaughter, Josephine Wagner.
She was preceded in death by her father; and a nephew, Timmy Dean Coffman, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, from 11 am until time of service at 1 pm, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Pastor Eddie Coffman will officiate. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens.
Memorials are suggested to the Crisis Food Center in Alton.
