RBGA Ribbon Cutting Ceremony: Maurices Fashions Retail Store

A lot of the River Bend Growth Association’s activity is ‘behind the scene’, for example working closely with state, regional, county and local officials to develop new employment opportunities.  But when the opportunity presents itself, the RBGA loves to celebrate events that mark improvement in the river bend community.

Growth Association member Alton Square Mall was the venue for a ribbon cutting to prior to observe the Grand Opening of the newly renovated Maurices Fashions Retail Store.  Store Manager Jessica Gibson and her team of fashion advisors had the store fully stocked store ready from the gleaming chandelier to multiple fitting rooms. 

Watch as Joell Aguirre, Growth Association Director of Member Services and event Master of Ceremony, makes introduces Jessica Gibson as well as Alton Mayor Walker, Godfrey Mayor McCormick and Mall Manager Lori Ehlers.  After some brief words, the ribbon is cut and the tour of the newly opened Maurices begins!
