Owner Katie Roach, LMT specializes in Myofascial Release and Massage Therapy. Katie, a 2009 graduate of Boulder College of Massage Therapy in Boulder, CO, offers clients the opportunity to experience Myofascial Release (MR), a whole-body approach that is highly effective in tracing pain back to its source. Fascia is a sheet or band of connective tissue enveloping, separating, or binding together muscles, organs and other soft structures of the body. According to the Fascia Research Society, fascia is the most pervasive, but perhaps least understood network of the human body. Fascia MR addresses the fascial system, which is affected greatly when the body goes through trauma such as whiplash, surgery, athletic injuries, postural dysfunctions, and chronic pain which results in restricted range of motion and pain. Through MR, these fascial restrictions can be eliminated along with self-care methods that Katie shows each client individually. The result is pain-free movement and being able to enjoy life fully and all its adventures!
