Ever wonder what life was like in the 1800s? Wonder no more at the Lewis & Clark Point of Departure. Interpreters filled Camp River Dubois to portray life in 1803-1804 to show visitors what life was like when Lewis & Clark embarked on their journey. There were cabins, boats, blacksmiths, forts, wood workers, and even military members on hand to show an accurate representation of early North American life.
