Growth Association Celebrates Reopening of Mark Twain School

ALTON – Alton School Superintendent Mark Cappel began his remarks about the newly opened K-12 facility by thanking those involved in making the $3 million renovation happen.  He began by thanking the School Board, all the Alton School District teachers, administrators and staff involved in the project, vendors and contractors who made Mark Twain’s reopening a reality.

Superintendent Cappel then introduced Cathy Elliott Director of Special Education who thanked everyone who attended and said that Alton School District “invests in people, they invest in all the people; teachers, staff and especially the students.” “Mark Twain School is another part of the vision that Alton School District has.”
