Due to the huge success that was the Ice Bucket Challenge, the ALS Foundation is hoping to carry that momentum into another summer of Ice Bucket Challenges that will annually occur in August. To start it all off, a small group of Alton citizens, along with the mayor and fire department, gathered at the Riverbender Community Center to challenge friends and take the challenge themselves.
