9/11 Memorial Tribute at Civic Memorial High School

Citizens from across the river bend gathered at Civic Memorial High School in Bethalto to remember those lost on September 11, 2001. Several speakers addressed the crowd while standing in front of a field of 2,997 flags, each one representing a life lost during the terrorist attack. Unfortunatley, the event was cut short by a rain delay, but we were able to capture very crucial parts of the evening.
