Local artists donated hundreds of hand-crafted ceramic bowls and many restaurants donated their specialty soups. Attendees enjoyed a delicious soup lunch and choose a bowl as a memento - a reminder that there is always an empty bowl somewhere in the Riverbend and the world. All proceeds went to the Crisis Food Center food pantry in Alton.
