RBGA Celebrates Hit-N-Runs New Ownership

It’s a new day for Hit-N-Run Convenience Stores located throughout the river bend area.  On Tuesday September 12 the Riverbend Growth Association conducted a ribbon cutting at Hit-N-Run’s Bethalto Store to celebrate the six-store chain’s new ownership.
New owners Dwight and Teresa Fowler pulled out the stops for the event providing all kinds of free stuff like meals of Champs Chicken tenders, bags of Lays potato chips, bottled water and Pepsi products, ball caps, t-shirts, can koozies and cake.
The Fowlers are no strangers to the Hit-N-Run organization, Dwight previously worked at the Wood River locations laundry mat and, previous to purchasing the business, Teresa worked under previous owners for 40-years, starting as a clerk and, at the time the couple acquired Hit-N-Run, the Director of Operations.
The couple’s depth of knowledge in the retail and service industry are already paying dividends through the addition of new ‘fresh’ products as well as popular novelty foods like fresh pretzels and Dippin’ Dots.
Dwight’s committed to visiting each of the six stores multiple times per week to assist where needed and demonstrate by example the importance of customer satisfaction.
