EAA's Ford Tri Motor Tour Takes Flight in Bethalto

The Experimental Aircraft Association tours across the United states showcasing various planes and the history behind them. On this current tour, the EAA has brought the 1929 Ford Tri Motor Airplane to the St. Louis Regional Airport in Bethalto. Visitors were able to view the plane and even take a short flight across the river bend area. The Ford Tri Motor is the first all-metal passenger airplane in production and the last airplane manufactured by the Ford Motor Company.
