To kick off the 2013 Eagle season, Chip Off the Block Ice Carvings was at the Confluence Tower for a live demonstration of their chainsaw work. Chip Off the Block Ice Carvings set the event in motion as they started with an uncut solid ice block standing over 3 feet tall. The carving began with a chainsaw and then die grinders. Wood chisels and handsaws are used to complete the detail.
