Downtown Library and Hayner Library at Alton Square Mall Monday, August 10 – Sunday, August 16 National Book Lovers Day, celebrated annually on August 9, is a wonderful occasion to honor the joy of reading and the strong connection between people and books. Join us Monday, August 10, through Sunday, August 16, as we invite patrons to visit the Downtown Library or Hayner Library at Alton Square Mall for a chance to win a DIY book nook kit. To participate, simply stop by either location, pick up a book review form from the Circulation Desk, and write a review of the last book you truly loved. Once you’ve completed your review, place your form in the designated box for a chance to win. The winner will be announced on Monday, August 17. Whether you are a lifelong book lover or just starting your reading journey, National Book Lovers Day is the ideal time to explore, share, and discover books that you can genuinely fall in love with.
