Our Sip & Sign in November of 2023 was such a huge success we are returning on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 10-12 p. m. at Grafton Winery to do it again! I Love Learning ASL instructor Angela Ashworth from Atlanta, Georgia will be at the winery to instruct this informative and fun class. You will learn basic fundamental sign language while you sip on hand-crafted Grafton Wine. Each adult registration includes 1 complimentary drink from the winery. Brunch menu items will also be available for purchase. You can pre-purchase brunch tickets for $18.00 each. Brunch will include items like quiches, pastries and fresh fruit. All instructional materials for the class will be included. No previous knowledge of ASL is required to attend. If you attended the event in November we will review some of those signs you learned but you will also learn even more vocabulary this time including colors, more family signs and conversational phrases as well as new food signs. There will be games, prizes, raffles and ASL merchandise for sale during the event. All proceeds from the merchandise sales will benefit the I Love Learning ASL Scholarship Fund that provides ASL classes for families with deaf/hard of hearing or non-verbal children at no cost. The previous Sip & Sign raised $300 for the Scholarship Fund and 5 families were blessed with 12 weeks of ASL Fundamental classes. 

Angela's husband, Drew Ashworth will also be coming back with her to play live at the Grafton Winery Brewhaus location downtown on Friday night, May 17th. Drew is a signed recording artist, the 2022 Atlanta Blues Challenge winner and represented Atlanta in the 2023 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN. on Beale Street. Refund Policy: A refund will be issued if you cancel by May 11, 2024 less 10% for credit card and registration processing fees. Registrations canceled from May 12 - May 16, 2024 will will receive 50% back in paid fees. Cancellations after May 17, 2024 will not be refunded. No Shows will also not be refunded.
