Glendale, AZ.-  Mildred Virginia (Wayman) "Dink" Story, 90, died peacefully at 5:55 a.m., Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at her home Glendale, Arizona.She was born in Kane on Feb. 23, 1924, and was the daughter of the late James Leonard & Stella L. (Eyer) Wayman.She grew up in the Jerseyville area, and worked at the White Spot for many years before relocating out of the area.Surviving are three daughters and son in law, Carol & Alex Madrid of Phoenix, Az., Berdenea & Scott Bounnell of Glendale, Az., and Marjorie Hughes of Kane; eight grandchildren, Joey Dilks of Jerseyville, Vickie Patterson of Manchester, Sara Gettings of Winchester, Angela Staney of Prescott, Az., Carrie Hicks of Phoenix, Az., Greg Myers of Phoenix, Az., Katie Wise of Laveen, Az., and Chad Myers of Laveen, Az.; 17 Great Grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; cousins, Gene & Jewel Wayman of California and Dwight & Wanda Wayman of Medora; nieces and nephews Charles & Judy White of Jerseyville, Jackie White of Jerseyville, Barbara White of Kane, Glenna White of Alton, Donald Ferguson of Jerseyville, Ronnie Kraushaar of Alton, and Donnie Kraushaar of Alton.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Walter Green and Kelmer Story; a son in law, Evans "Ebb" Hughes; a grandson, John Nolan Jr.; a great grandson, James Hicks; three brothers, James A., Marion C. "Pete" and Lee Wayman; and five sisters, Margaret Kuelbs, Anna Kraushaar, Eva White, Ethel Mae Ferguson, Tessie "Kate" Beiermann.Visitation will be from 11 a.m., Monday until time of funeral services at 1 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.Burial will be in the Medora Cemetery.
