Cynthia “Cindi” Morgan, 64, was miraculously healed from a long illness when she was awarded the crown of righteousness Thursday, April 18, 2013.
She departed to join all those who have claimed Jesus Christ as their Savior. She joined the heavenly choir and has no pain and feels no sadness. She was born July 18, 1948 in Winchester, KY. She was the daughter of George and Dorothy Shearer.
On June 1, 1968 she married Dr. Ken Morgan retired Pastor of Heartland Baptist Church. He survives along with their daughter, Shannon (George) Kederis of Louisville, KY. Also surviving is a sister, Barbra Gandy of Fries, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Heartland Baptist Church in Alton. Pastor Dave Burger will officiate.
