Mary Eileen Lamb Rich, 63, passed away at 10:35am on Sunday October 14, 2012, at her residence with her family by her side.
She was born in Hayes, KS on March 30, 1949 the daughter of the late Perry and Hazel (North) VanOsdol.
On November 17, 1996 she married Rhodes Rich in Dekalb, IL. He survives.
In addition to her husband she is survived by five children, Jennifer Lamb (Chris) Jondro, of St. Jacob, Jack Lamb of Springfield, Tracy Rich Hilgert, of Godfrey, John Hilgert, of Godfrey, and Victoria ( Kirk) Rehkop of Edwardsville; thirteen grandchildren, Kayleigh, Dustin, Amanda, Aryn, Kassidy, McKenzie, Rebecca, Ian, Alexis, Parker, Brooke, Madeline, and Andrew; one sister Sherry (Robert) Eales of Conroe TX; and two brothers Perry “Butch” (Debbie) VanOsdol of Kansas City, MO, and Jerry (Sharon) VanOsdol, of Carmichael, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son, David.
Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey.
Funeral service will be at 10 am on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey with Rev. Rob Hartmann and Rev. Beth Meirath officiating.
