Doris Jean Miller, 75, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2026 at OSF St. Anthony's in Alton, Illinois.
Born on March 28, 1951 in Marion, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Stanley Herren and Mary Sue Lynn.
She married Freeman Miller in Wood River, Illinois. He preceded her in death on July 25, 2000.
She spent many years working as a housekeeper for Eden Village.
Surviving are a son, Ronald Lynn of Wood River; daughters, Rhonda Liggons of Springfield, Elizabeth (Tony) Forehand of Paragould, Arkansas; brothers, Paul Richard Hargrove of Carmi, IL, Roger Lee Hargrove of Kentucky; sisters, Janie Pulliam of Hartford, Katherine Ann Turner of Carmi, IL; three grandchildren, Adashia Reed, Carrie Lynn, and Tony Forehand, JR.; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Freeman Miller; and sister, Connie Hargrove.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana, IL. Mr. Tony Forehand will be officiating.
