Carolyn Kay Bockstruck, 83, of Dorsey, IL, died at her residence on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at 6:38 pm.
She was born March 10, 1943, in Alton, IL to Arthur Hampton & Helen Moore Hampton. She married Lloyd Everett Bockstruck on March 24, 1961 in Alton, IL.
She was a bookkeeper for Aljets Automotive. She was a graduate of Alton High School Class of 1961. Carolyn was a member of Emmaus Lutheran Church of Dorsey and Alton Community Quilting Group. She enjoyed quilting.
She is survived by her spouse, Lloyd Everett Bockstruck of Dorsey, IL, children, Rhonda (John) Heiderscheid of Bethalto, IL, Karen (Bryan) Shaw of Bunker Hill, IL, Lisa (Michael) O'Donnell of St. Louis, MO, Cheryl (special friend, M J Lucas) Bockstruck of Lebanon, TN, grandchildren, Brandon (Paige) Heiderscheid, Evan (fiancée, Adrianna) Heiderscheid, Gavin (Maddie) Shaw, Katelyn (Justin) Phillips, Emma O'Donnell, David O'Donnell, great-grandchildren, Ryleigh, Rhett, Waylon, Dolly, Cooper, Weston, nephews, Matt Hayes and Geoff Hayes.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Donna (Arthur Hayes II) Hayes and nephew, Eric Hayes.
Friends may call on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Funeral services are Monday, October 12, 2026 at 11:00 am at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Dorsey. Burial will be at Emmaus Lutheran Cemetery, Dorsey, IL. Memorials are suggested to Emmaus Lutheran Church.
