Robin L. Porter, age 70, of Edwardsville, IL, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2026, in Edwardsville.
Robin was born in Quincy, IL, on November 12, 1955, the daughter of Barbara Joann (Cookson) Ellerbrock & the late Max Ellerbrock.
Besides her mother, Robin is survived by her three children, Jamie Gourley & husband William Scott, of LaGrange, IL; Lacey Luitjohan & husband Matthew Luitjohan, of Edwardsville, IL, and Bradley Porter & wife Kaci, of Glen Carbon, IL; six grandchildren, Porter Gourley, Payton Gourley, Magdalena Luitjohan, Meredith Luitjohan, Kollyns Porter, Campbell Porter; a brother, Randy Ellerbrock & wife Laura, of Clayton, IL; her longtime significant other, Richard “Doc” Holiday; bonus daughter, Nicole Stewart & husband Nick, of Edwardsville, IL; four bonus grandchildren, Ethan Stewart, Dominic Talarico, Angelo Talarico, and Harper Stewart.
Robin was a radiologic technologist, specializing in mammography, and retiring from Anderson Hospital in 2022 after 42 years. Robin will be cremated according to her wishes. A Celebration of Life will be held on October 17, 2026 at The Studio located at 60 School Street in Glen Carbon, IL from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
