Coralee Schneider, 81, of Belleville, IL, born Saturday, July 7, 1945, in Belleville, IL, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Dammert Geriatric Center in Belleville, IL.
Coralee had a long, productive and interesting career as a trainer and supervisor with the Department of Public Aid for the State of Illinois. For nearly 4 decades, she did what she always did best – help others and bring a better quality of life to everyone she touched.
She was preceded in death by her:

Also missing her terribly are the other members of her local extended family; Taz and Sandy Wolsfelt of Belleville, IL and their children and grandchildren, and Steven Gambichler of Collinsville, IL. Cora was a firm believer that “it takes a village,” and her village loved and supported her unconditionally through thick and thin. She was a smart, salty and deeply independent tailor, seamstress, businesswoman and cook extraordinaire, and we will miss you more than we can say.
