Todd William Harpole, 59, died at 6:12 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at his home. He was born August 2, 1966 in Alton, the son of Charles William “Bill” and Carolyn Sue (Ury) Harpole.
Todd worked for Omega Packaging in St. Louis for over 25 years and later he worked as a sales associate at Home Depot. In May of 1992, he married Theresa Newby and she preceded him in death on November 28, 2013.
Besides his parents he is survived by one daughter, Monica Griggs (David) of Godfrey, three grandchildren, Maggie, Gabby and Charlie Griggs, one sister, Jennifer Gold (John) of Cape Coral, FL, two nieces, Tesla Gold and Carolyn Jo Graham (Jake) and two nephews, Alex Taul (Shannon Mille) and Bradley Taul (Natlie), three great nieces, Chloe, Kylie and Karlie Taul, one great nephew, Emmett Graham. Todd is also survived by his longtime friend, Brant Walker and his daughter, Isabell.
Per his wishes he was cremated, and a memorial visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Calvary Baptist Church in Alton. Reverend Andre’ Dobson will officiate.
