Edward Thomas Jordan Jr., 73, of Alton, IL, passed away at 5:36 P.M. Tues. Feb. 24, 2026 at his home.
He was born Oct. 28, 1952 in Alton to the late Edward Thomas and Catherine (Yates) Jordan.
He and Eleuteria Manlimos were married July 5, 1981 in the Philippines. She survives.
Edward was a U.S. Navy veteran, retiring after 19 years of service. He then worked various jobs, and officially retired at the age of 65
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 4 sons: Jermaine Jordan, Jonathan Jordan, Rogelio Manlimos and Kenneth Manlimos; and 2 grandchildren: Raylin Jordan and Bishop Manlimos.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Joyce Jordan and Patti Jordan.
Graveside services at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with military honors are pending.
