Steven Ray Davis, 66, of Granite City, Illinois, passed away at his home on Monday, December 1, 2025. He was born on January 12, 1959, in Granite City, the son of Raymond L. Davis of Granite City and the late Glenda S. (Fritz) Davis.
Steven dedicated 20 years of service as a custodian at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Steven also enjoyed collecting stamps and was a devoted sports enthusiast. Above all, he was a true family man who cherished time spent with his loved ones and friends.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his daughter, Brenda (Jerry) McWhorter of Altamont; his son, Steven Michael Davis of Collinsville; several grandchildren; and five siblings: Brenda (Keith) Bell of Dallas, Texas; Dennis (Debra) Davis of Granite City; Martin (Theresa) Davis of Granite City; Douglas Davis of Granite City; and Kristina Wolfe of Festus, Missouri. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and his brother-in-law, Randal Wolfe.
