Robert “Bob” A. Schaumleffel, 84, of Belleville, IL, born December 12, 1940, in East Saint Louis, IL, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025, in Caseyville, IL.
Robert worked at Ameren Power for 30 years before retiring. He was an avid weightlifter for his entire life and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Candace Niehls; and his parents; William Jr. and Wanda, nee Taliferro, Schaumleffel.
Surviving are his brother, William “Bill” (Karmen) Schaumleffel III; two grandchildren; Beth Niehls and Mary (Austin) Bray; a great granddaughter, Reyna; three nephews; William Schaumleffel IV (Sharon Severson), Dirk (Amy) Schaumleffel, and Nathan (Missy) Schaumleffel, and seven great nieces and nephews.

Funeral: Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, November 3, 2025, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Rev. Jonathan Tinge officiating.
Burial will be held at Green Mount Protestant Cemetery.
