Becky Cerkoski, 92, of Gillespie, IL, died at Gillespie Health and Rehab Center, Gillespie, IL on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 11:06 pm.
She was born October 23, 1932, in Taylor Springs, IL to George Homa & Mary Homa. She married Leonard Cerkoski on June 7, 1952 in Hillsboro, IL.
She had Becky's Beauty Shop in Gillespie, IL where she was a hairdresser for 52 years after retiring in 2021. Becky enjoyed golf and socializing.
She is survived by her sons, Mike (Debbie) Cerkoski of Daytona Beach, FL, Tom (Jacki) Cerkoski of St. George, UT, grandchildren, Cassie Cerkoski, Brooke Schmitt, Mattie Cerkoski, Emily Cerkoski, great-grandchildren, Alex Curry, Gavin Curry, Connor Schmitt, Siena Schmitt and her friend and partner, Ed Dippold.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, brothers, Leonard Homa, George Homa, Jr, sisters, Marie Bellovich, Leona Bosnak.
Friends may call on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie from 9:30 am until 10:30 am.
Funeral services are Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 10:30 am at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie, IL. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Gillespie, IL.
