Michael W. McKnight, 74, of Benld, IL, died at his residence on Monday, August 4, 2025.
He was born December 1, 1950, in St. Louis, MO to Donald and Theresa McKnight. He married Joann Clifton.
He was a retired laborer for Pecks Refinery. Michael was a music enthusiast. He wrote songs and was a record collector. He had 50,000 records. He also was an antique collector.
He is survived by his spouse, Joann McKnight of Benld, IL, daughters, Rebecca McKnight of Benld, IL, Sarah McKnight (fiancé, Joshua Braden) of Livingston, IL, sisters, Kathleen Delunas Dorsheff (spouse, Paul) of St. Louis, MO, Sharon Kastan-Dill (spouse, Gary) of St. Charles, MO.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald Raymond McKnight, Jr.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
