Michael ("Mike") Blakely, 81, died on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at his home in Godfrey. Born in 1942, he was the son of William and Georgie (Fuller) Blakely. He retired as a self-employed accountant. Mike is survived by his wife, Janet, son Greg (Dee), daughter Janeen, stepchildren Brian and Jaime (Trent), granddaughters Emily (Barron) and Amelia (Kitt), step grandchildren, Will and Emma, great-granddaughter Lucy, and a brother, Stephen (Susan).Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 pm on Monday, January 15, 2024 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton, with prayer service following at 3:00 pm.
