Tommy Lee Shewmake, 56 of Alton, IL passed away Friday, October 13, 2023 at Bria of Wood River surrounded by his two sisters. Debbie and Candy.
He was born to the late Thomas and Susan (Shewmake) Johnson on June 10, 1967 in Alton, IL. Tommy loved to listen to country music and spend time with his family.
Tommy is survived by 3 sisters; Debbie Whitehead, Candy Johnson, Susan Baily; a brother: Asa Johnson; and many nieces and nephews who loved Tommy very much.
Besides his parents, Tommy is preceded in death by a son: Steven Markel; a nephew: Thomas Ray Whitehead Jr; and 2 nieces: Heidi Clark and Stevie Lee.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
