Raelyne Emma Cheek, 13, of Shipman, died at 4:45 p.m., Friday, August 11, 2017 from injuries sustained in an accident south of Challacombe Road on Illinois Route 267 in Jersey County. Surviving are Father: Erik Cheek of ShipmanMother: Briane Penny of JerseyvilleGrandparents: Marsha and Brad Stearns of Kemper Lynn and Cathy Cheek of BrightonGreat Grandparents: Georgia Madson of Monmouth Cecil Stearns of Lick Creek,Illinois Linda Cheek of JerseyvilleVisitation will be from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.Graveside services will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Kemper Cemetery.In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials may be given to the funeral home, and will be used to assist Raelyne's friend, Erica Wallace.
