Wood River
Barbara A. Tidwell, 66, passed away Monday, May 29, 2019 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born in Wood River on September 19, 1950, she was the daughter of Dale and Bernice (Hayline) Wiser.
She had been in the Physical Therapy Unit at Elmwood Nursing Home in Maryville before retiring. She loved her work as well as crocheting and crafting.
On March 20, 1982 in Alton, she married Ronnie Tidwell. He survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, David Wiser; daughters, Crystal (Jacob) Delp, Mandy Tidwell, Michelle Kopsie; 16 grandchildren; and a sister, Laura Sue French.
Preceding in death were her parents; a son, Ronnie Tidwell, Jr.; grandson, Alex L. Delp; and brothers, Glenn A. and William D. Wiser.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. Thursday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
Burial will follow in Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
Memorial may be made to the family for expenses
