Katherine F. Earney, 78, passed away 6:44 p.m., Thursday, April 13, 2017 at OSF St. Anthony Health Center in Alton.
Born in Wood River on October 5, 1938, she was the daughter of Lloyd A. and Flora (Loos) Nolan.
She had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at VIP Manor in Wood River before retiring.
Surviving are two sons and a daughter, Dennis Earney, Darin Earney and Florenda Burnham all of Wood River; seven grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
Her parents; three brothers; and two sisters preceded in death.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 18 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Pastor Martin Schultz will officiate.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation will follow the service.
Memorials may be made St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wood River.
