Janice Ann Couch, 72, of Alton, IL, passed away at 6:15 p.m. Thurs. Feb. 2, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born Feb. 28, 1944 in Jerseyville, IL to the late Wilbert & Maxine (Jennings) Hartsock.
Janice had been a massage therapist for many years. She was a member of the Red Hat’s and Senior Services and was a volunteer at 5A’s.
She and Earl V. Couch were married in Wood River in 1962. He preceded her in death Mar. 3, 2005.
Survivors include 3 sons: John (Marisol) Couch of Godfrey, Todd Couch of Hazelwood, MO and Zac Couch of Alton; 5 grandchildren; and 2 brothers: Bob Hartsock of East Alton, IL and Gary Hartsock of Rosewood Heights, IL.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ross Hartsock.
Services are private.
