Edna Martha Trammell, age 95, of Godfrey, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at her home.She was born June 14, 1921, in Alton, the daughter of Guy and Hattie (Overath) Vaughn. She married Marion F. “Mike” Trammell and he preceded her in death.Edna had worked in California for many years as a Floral Designer. She was also an active member in St. Ambrose Church in Godfrey. She is survived by many friends and family. In addition to her husband, Mike; she is preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Helen Vaughn.Per her wishes her body has been donated to science. A memorial Mass will be offered for Martha Monday, January 9, 2017 at 5:30 pm at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Godfrey, IL.Staten-Fine Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
