Sharon Quinonez, 75, passed away at 7:14 am Saturday May 7, 2016 at Alton Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.
She was born on January 4, 1941 in Portland, Maine, the daughter of John & Fannie (Pulkinen) Ring.
Sharon married Gerald Quinonez on January 23, 1959 in Portland, Maine. He survives.
She was an avid reader, enjoyed golf in her younger days and most of all she loved her family and friends.
Sharon is survived by two sons, Scott Quinonez of Alton and Michael Quinonez of St. Charles, MO; one granddaughter, Natalie Quinonez of Godfrey.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three sisters, Pam Ring, Joann Dean and Marlene Searcy.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9 am Thursday May 12, 2016 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Alton.
