Emma J. Boschert, 91, passed away at 9:14 pm, Monday March 14, 2016 at Meridian Village.
She was born in Alton on May 18, 1924 the daughter of the late Clarence and Leila (Perrings) Hickerson.
On May 4, 1946, she married the late Paul Boschert in Alton. He preceded her in death on June 6, 2012.
She was a Registered Nurse at Alton Memorial Hospital for forty years before retiring in 1984. She was a member of the Heartland Quilters Club and St. Matthews Catholic Church.
She is survived by two daughters Ellen Jane (Daniel) Rensch of Florissant and Julie Ann Gilbert of Edwardsville; a son Paul (Marsha) Boschert of Edwardsville. Five grandchildren Jennifer (Rick) Delashmit, Benjamin (Mindy) Schrimpf, Daniel (Molly) Rensch II, Elizabeth Gilbert, and Samantha Boschert; five great grandchildren Reece, Harrison, and Sophia Delashmit, Emma Schrimpf, and Quinn Rensch; one sister, Lelia Mae Vernor and a brother, Clarence Hickerson.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sisters Eva Jean Rose and LaVelle Hair.
Memorial service will be at 2 pm Sunday April 10, 2016 at Meridian Village Chapel.
