Della Ilene Langham, 95, passed away 4:10 a.m. Friday, September 11, 2015 at Jerseyville Manor.
Born on May 9, 1920 in Keyesport, IL, she was the daughter of Louis and Nelda (Laws) Willmirth.
She worked as a sales associate for Sears-Roebuct and Co before retiring after 14 years.
She married Carl E. Langham on January 29, 1939 in St.Louis. He died July 4, 1998.
Surviving are three daughters, Barbara (Donald) Edwards of Greenfield, Mary (James) Burner of Lee's Summit, MO, Charlotte (Hal) Keyser of Davenport, IA; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; sister, Mary Jo (Roger) Wade of Fosterburg; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; son, William C, Langham; daughter, Judy Burks; a sisters, Lois Huck; brothers and sister-in-law, Laren and Jean Thorpe and Harold Huck.
Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Sunday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River, where services will be conducted at 12 noon on Monday. Jim Johnston will officiate.
Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
