Jeffrey L. Baker, 53, passed away at 4:10 a.m. Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born Oct. 11, 1961 in Jersey County, Ill., he was the son of Gerald and Sarah Kathleen (Barnes) Baker.
He married Kathy R. Schien-Timmerman on Feb. 3, 1989 in Roxana. She survives.
Jeff worked as operations manager at Folsom Distributing for 20 years. Jeff was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He spent his spare time fishing, attending auctions, and restoring furniture.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Karrington (Zachary) Bostick and a son, Joseph A. Baker, all of Bethalto; 2 grandchildren, Trenton and Elijah Bostick; 3 sisters, Marie (Jerry) Williams of Carrollton, Martha (Gene) Spudich of Jerseyville, and Mary Kay Pellagrino of Houston, Tex.; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Ruthie Mason; and two brothers, Jerry and Robert Baker.
Memorial visitation will be Thursday, June 25 at Paynic Home for Funerals from 5 p.m. until services begin at 6 p.m.
