Waneta Olive Link, 85, of Gillespie, IL, died at Gillespie Health and Rehab Center, Gillespie, IL on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 2:42 p.m. She was born July 10, 1939, in Carlinville, IL to Virgil Weatherford & Velma Louise Brown Weatherford. She married Donald W. Link on January 26, 1958 in Carlinville, IL. He preceded her in death on July 13, 1999. She was a homemaker. Waneta is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Ken "Bear") Kleeman of Carlinville, IL, Mindy (Steve) Yurkovich of Gillespie, IL, son, Todd Link of Texas, grandchildren, Ben, Elsa, Tiffany, Kale, Chloe and seven great grandchildren. Waneta was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, son, Timothy Jay Link and brother, Renee Weatherford. No public services will be held.
